Introducing https://threebbblog.wordpress.com/

Dear readers,
Roughly one year ago, we launched the threebb blog and its been one hell of a journey.
Our sincerest apologies for being inactive for a while. We realised that blogging is no easy job and we’ve taken the time off to reflect on who we are as bloggers and what we’ve learnt about ourselves over the past year.
As you know Sophie has spun off from threebb with her beauty posts – check her amazing posts here http://www.mapletreeblog.blogspot.com and she’s also gone and done an incredible job of launching a blogging community in the UK.
Furthermore, during our hiatus over the winter, we decided to revamp threebb, starting with an entire new platform at wordpress. Our new website is www.threebbblog.wordpress.com. We’ll continue to bring you more blog posts with Linh focusing on beauty, Chiwei on fashion and Sophie on food.

Love, Chiwei, Linh & Sophie xxx

Hi guys! First beauty post since Sophie left us and moved her beauty posts over to her new blog (mapletreeblog - be sure to check it out!). I cant make any promises but I will do my utterbest to try to do beauty reviews of her quality and standards!

I first discovered this little gem travelling around Busan in the summer of 2014 with a friend. We went into Etude House and this lovely Japanese lady who was 30 but actually looked 21 sold the product to my friend at first. At the time, I was absorbed with the make-up section whilst overhearing their conversation. She did a really good job of explaining the product and I was sold by the 10 powers of this product.

[MaskGenie & MaskMaven] - Sheet Mask Battle! Dec'15 Pouch

Mask Genie V Mask Maven

I love sheet masks. I’m not yet quite in the mask a day club, that’s still a luxury not in my budget, but I would if I could!
They make me feel like I’m having a mini facial, and my skin loves it too. It also gives me the chance to customise for how my skin feels that day. Feeling sore, use aloe. Need some brightening, on goes rose or pearl. Redness? That’s a tea tree mask!

With that in mind I looked around for mask subscription services, as I like trying out new things and subscription boxes are one of my favourite things (as shown in the 2015 reflections post here).
There are two main ones that I found which ship to the UK.  Mask Genie, and Mask Maven by Beauteque.
Here’s my comparison review of the two December pouches I received and my recommendations!
