[London Town] - Columbia Road Flower Market; My Happy Place ~ Sophie

One of my favourite places in the world is Columbia Road Flower Market.
Whenever I’m feeling down or have had a tough week this is the place which brings me serenity and happiness. I take the old cliché of ‘go to your happy place’ very literally.
What follows is a very pic heavy post which will show why this truly is a gem of London.

[Beauteque] - August 2015 Unbagging

It’s that time of the month again and my August Beauteque bag has arrived!
I unsubscribed from them last month, but couldn’t resist signing back up again. It’s the only Asian Skincare/Beauty subscription box, as far as I know, which ships to London and I love surprises so had to give it another go.

So let’s find out if I made the right decision.

[OOTD] Outfit of the day - Eastbourne Beach Trip

So we recently went back to Sophie’s hometown, Eastbourne, for their famous air show and I followed the girls around all day with my camera and captured their beachy ootd look which you can find more about below.

Summer 2015 - Current Cleansing Routine - Linh

For all those with sensitive skins out there!

I am so thankful for the internet and international shipping today, as for a long time, I had been suffering with sensitive skin and using Western products like L’Oréal and Garnier, which didn’t really cater for my sensitive and little did I know, they were making my skin more irritated and red. Hence the complete transition into using Korean products which are much more mild and gentle to skin.

Anyone remember that cleansing brush hype? I believe L’Oréal was first to introduce the product. I was so desperate to get one, it was so cool, felt really nice to use on the skin and only one year later, I realised people with sensitive skin shouldn’t be exfoliating with these brushes! I really should have realised sooner – my skin turned awfully red and blotchy

I never wanted to go back to Western skin products ever again. That is until today, and the discovery of Nivea’s new upgraded sensitive skincare range (perhaps some of their dermatologists have been visiting South Korea!). Therefore, I would like to introduce to you all the current two products I’m using as part of my cleansing routine.

[SKINFOOD] Peach Sake Pore Serum

Price $10.90 ~ £7
45ml
“Containing rice sake, peach extract rich in vitamins A and C, and silica powder, this soft essence minimizes shine and the appearance of pores.”

This product is pretty much my staple – you can tell by how empty the bottle is now since I first bought the product back in May. I use it daily as part of my skincare routine – make up remover, cleansing foam, toner, SERUM, eye cream and finally moisturiser.

I say it’s a staple because it’s pretty much given me consistent results, it has helped me control and maintain my pores and I’ve definitely seen fewer break out of spots.

[Rose Rose Haul] - Mega Haul from the Rose Rose Sale

So Linh my fellow Kbeauty fan girl alerted me to the amazing sale that Rose Rose was having to celebrate their new website, and I inevitably crumbled to the temptation of doing a massive haul in the face of the low prices. I semi-justified this haul by saying it was for the health of my skin and would provide ample material for the blog. So here is the first haul post on Threebb! (probably not the last XD )

[Great British Bake Off] - Technical Challenge No. 1, Walnut Coffee Cake

The Great British Bake Off is back once more on television, and this year I’ve decided to take on the challenge of the technical bakes!
What that means is following a basic recipe and sticking to the strict time limit given to the contestants.

I am also probably going to end up altering the recipe/ingredients to my own tastes and by what I can easily get on hand. So it is probably more accurate to say that I am going to be inspired by these bakes. And the first week only proved this to be the case!

Artistic angle to hide the cracks...

[Empties] - Snails, Strawberries & Peaches! It's my empties for July.

One of my favourite blog posts to read are ‘Empties’ posts, as it usually means the blogger has been using the product for a while, and I’m curious about people’s routines!

I’m fairly new to the Korean Beauty scene, still learning about all the different nuances of snail versus starfish, and the truth about PH. But I’ve finally amassed an empties collection worth blogging about.

LookBook - August Favorites - Who Am I Following?

So some of you may be wondering where you can get fashion inspiration from. My go to place is Lookbook - a social media platform where users are able to share their fashion ideas and style.

For those of you who have never used it before, you can filter the looks by 'Hot', 'New' or 'Top' or by the type of style you are interested in (Street, Minimal, Preppy, Grunge etc).

If you have an account, you can 'Hype' the look to like it and even better, you can 'Add' it to your collection. This is somewhat similar to the concept of Pinterest in that it allows you to save photos to albums of your choice.

I thought I would share some of my favourite Lookbook users with you so you can start to build up your own collections.
