For my second recipe post it's another quick, cheap but importantly tasty meal!
This made enough for three hungry girls and a little bit leftover.
Cost: £4 per serving (3 servings)
Prep Time: 8 mins
Cooking Time: 15 mins
Ingredients:
Beef Strips
Egg Noodles
Bean Sprouts
Pak Choi
Tesco Stir Fry Pack (spring onions, broccoli, mange tout, baby corn)
Seasonings:
Pepper
Salt
Chilli flakes
Sesame Oil
Teriyaki Sauce
Method
1) Marinate the beef strips in teriyaki sauce for at least a few hours.
2) Prep the vegetables by washing and slicing. I prefer my spring onions on the slightly chunky side, but remember no one likes a bite of pure onion. I sliced up the baby corn as well to shorten the cooking time.
4) Continue to fry on medium heat, stirring the beef and vegetables. Put a lid on top and leave for 3 minutes.
5) Heat up a tsp of sesame oil in a second pan, and add in the egg noodles. I added in chili flakes at this stage onto the noodles, so that there was extra spice.
6) Add in the bean sprouts to the stir fry and add more seasoning.

7) The egg noodles take about 3 mins to cook, and you'll need to separate out the noodles by stirring while cooking. Keep an eye on the vegetables and meat though and keep that moving.
8) Once done put the egg noodles out onto a plate, and spend a couple more minutes on the stir fry to ensure everything is cooked through.
9) Add as much of the beef teriyaki stir fry to the noodles. And voila, you're done!
